Sylvia Evans Outstanding Young Woman Award

We would like to congratulate Madison Lamarque on being selected for the Sylvia Evans Outstanding Young Woman Award.  
The Sylvia Evans Award has been presented annually since 1981 to women in the community who, in the spirit of Sylvia Evans, have demonstrated a deep concern for others and have devoted their time and energy to supporting the families of the Androscoggin Valley.

High school seniors that are selected for this award display compassion, humanity, and a strong commitment to the welfare of others through activities and volunteer work.  Madison is a wonderful choice for this award and we are very proud of her accomplishments.  Madison will be attending Sarah Lawrence University in the fall - double majoring in psychology and film.
